Michael Forstoffer has been bringing flavor and excitement to 索迪斯 for 17 amazing years. He started his career in 2008 at Community College of Baltimore County , and ever since then has consistently been a pillar of excellence in dining and hospitality. He has worked at various Sodexo accounts in Pennsylvania, to which he is a lifelong resident. Today, he serves as the General Manager at West Virginia University , continuing to make a lasting impact.

Michael's fervor for fishing and travel, coupled with his 44-year tenure as a volunteer firefighter, profoundly enhance his professional prowess. Fishing teaches him patience and attention to detail, essential traits in crafting exceptional culinary experiences. His passion for travel broadens his culinary perspective, allowing him to bring diverse and exciting flavors to the menu. Meanwhile, his dedication as a firefighter instills a strong sense of teamwork, discipline, and community service, all of which are invaluable in managing and inspiring his team. At his core, Michael's greatest passion lies in creating unforgettable dining experiences for students, enriched by his diverse and dedicated life outside his career.

One thing he’d tell his younger self. "Listen—always listen. You can learn so much from those around you."         
One word his team uses to describe him? Engaged.
