Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the USC Alumni Association

June 21, 2023, commemorated the USC Alumni Association ’s 100th Anniversary and kicked off a yearlong celebration of a century of exceptional volunteerism and service. This weekend I look forward to seeing generations of Trojan alumni return to campus for Alumni & Reunion Weekend to participate in treasured traditions in conjunction with USC’s 100th Homecoming.

Over the years there have been countless acts of generosity of spirit and giving by our alumni in the form of student scholarships, faculty endowments, medical research, patient care, campus landmarks and beautification. All these gifts have demonstrated the power of the #TrojanFamily, but I believe our greatest tool and call to action is the power of our collective voices when used to uplift one another as a force for good in the world.

My message for all Trojan alumni is this: Let’s be braver, brighter, and bolder about the future. The Trojan Family is counting on us to go where others are afraid and continue to invest our talents and resources to achieve excellence in academics and research, excellence in medical care, excellence in athletics, and excellence in service to one another and to our communities.

To all alumni volunteers I’ve not yet had a chance to thank in person, I’d like to extend my utmost gratitude for all that you’ve done and continue to do on behalf of USC.
