Celebrate, Reflect, Conquer: 10 Tips for Success in 2025

Celebrate, Reflect, Conquer: 10 Tips for Success in 2025

As 2024 winds down, I find myself reflecting on the incredible lessons this year has brought—personal growth, professional achievements, travel, self-discovery, and connection. It’s been a whirlwind of classes, podcasts, weekly newsletters, fitness, and mindset shifts that have completely changed my perspective. I wanted to finish up the year with another newsletter. Hard to believe I've published 26 newsletters in just 4 months and grown to 1,536 subscribers. This was one of many goals that my incredible friend, Davidson Hang challenged me to do! It's provided me an opportunity to add value and help others. Many of my goals were re-evaluated throughout the year. I reflected weekly (sometimes daily) and shifted based on my awareness of circumstances.

Here are my top 10 tips to help you wrap up the year with intention and set the tone for a successful and fulfilling 2025:

2024

1. Reflect and Celebrate Your Wins

Take stock of everything you’ve accomplished—big or small. Did you launch a project, meet a personal milestone, or make progress on something meaningful? Celebrate those moments! Even if you didn’t hit every goal, focus on how much you’ve grown. As the holidays approach, take time to appreciate what you have—the lessons, the people, and the progress. Gratitude keeps you grounded and motivated to keep moving forward. I also recommend incorporating gratitude into your life as a daily practice. I have done this for years, and I am confident that the greatness in my life is because of gratitude.

2. Set Clear, Measurable Goals for 2025

Be specific about what you want to achieve next year. Break your goals into actionable steps, and make them realistic. For example, I’m already planning and hired an executive coach for 2025, and my focus is not just on professional success but on creating balance and intentionality in my personal life. Determining your goals and BHAGs and working on them is critical. Measure them and re-evaluate when necessary.

3. Prioritize Fitness and Health

Your energy fuels your success. In 2024, I stayed consistent with my workouts while traveling, found gyms wherever I went, and stuck to my meal prep routines. Fitness isn’t just about physical health; it boosts mental clarity and productivity. Make it non-negotiable. This year, I incorporated meditation. Something I've wanted to do for years. It has been a game-changer for me. There are so many guided meditations and apps that you can use to help you incorporate them into your daily practice. I use "Breethe" and love it! Find the app here. I also started using the sauna more frequently, which I've always loved, but I found an option for home use so that I could do it more often. Just a few of the benefits here: Sauna Benefits

4. Plan Ahead for Success

Preparation is everything, whether it’s scheduling workouts, creating agendas for meetings, or prepping meals for a busy week. This year, I leaned on planning to stay on top of my game, and it made all the difference. I look at my week, and for the weeks I anticipate long days, I plan for more sleep and less social time to keep me energized.

5. Stay Curious and Invest in Self-Development

One of the most transformational parts of my year was the self-development programs I attended. They challenged my mindset, expanded my network, and opened up new possibilities. Growth isn’t always comfortable, but it’s worth it. I attended five seminars, and 4 out of 4 of them were unbelievable. I had a complete reset and reprioritization of what was important in my life. Attending the CrossFit Health Summit and hanging with so many amazing people, like Dr. Nick, MD , and Karen Thomson in Texas in January, a virtual 12-week self-paced program, a fitness week-long retreat lead by Celebrity Trainer Don Saladino in Mexico in July, 3 days of mindset shifts in June with the amazing Stéphane Schafeitel and Shalee Schafeitel , a 2-day success summit in August in FL, and a 1-day fitness event in NYC in October. I have gained much knowledge in fitness, health, leadership, habits, and mindset. I also met so many incredible people and speakers along the way. I read so many books and used the long drives to teach classes to take the time to listen to audiobooks and ones that would challenge my thinking!

6. Build an Intentional Network

Surround yourself with people who inspire, challenge, and push you to grow. This year, I connected with two incredible mentors who helped me see things from a new perspective. I also met a group of like-minded individuals who have inspired me. I've let go of some relationships that no longer served me and re-evaluated those I wanted to keep close. Who do you want in your inner circle in 2025?

7. Embrace Recovery and Rest

Burnout is real, and so is the power of recovery. Whether it’s through sleep supplements, consistent bedtime routines, or simply slowing down to reflect, make recovery a part of your success strategy. It’s what keeps you energized for the long haul. I have consistent bedtime habits that help me sleep efficiently, and they have been a huge asset to my productivity.

8. Track Your Progress

Use tools like habit trackers or journals to monitor your growth. I use my WHOOP to track sleep and recovery, and it’s been a game-changer. Having data helps you see where you excel and where there’s room for improvement. I also have accountability groups that I am part of to help hold me accountable for my workouts, eating habits, and overall health. Having communities of like-minded people is a huge asset. Feel free to reach out to me directly, and I'm happy to share the supplements and tools I use for sleep and high recovery.

9. Focus on Mindset

The right mindset changes everything. The program I took in July shifted my entire outlook and helped me create goals I hadn’t considered in 15 years. Approach 2025 with a mindset of abundance, positivity, and curiosity. Do you genuinely have a growth mindset, or is it more fixed?

10. Invest in Yourself

Over the last two years, I have invested heavily in my own self-development, coaches for all aspects of life, and, most recently, a huge investment in an executive coach. This was the best holiday gift I could have given to myself! We need to be honest with ourselves and know that sometimes, we need to seek out coaches who can observe behaviors, challenge our thinking, and hold us accountable.

2024 was a year of discovery, reflection, and growth for me. I’ve learned to embrace challenges, appreciate setbacks, and celebrate progress. I can’t wait to see what 2025 holds—for me and for all of you.

What are your goals for the new year? What are you focusing on for 2025?

Wishing you all a joyful and reflective holiday season. Let’s make 2025 our best year yet!
