What an incredible journey we experienced during A Day of Giving at Utah State University on October 10th and 11th! More than just a fundraising initiative, this event was a celebration of community, connection, and philanthropy. Alumni, students, faculty, and friends came together to support one mission: empowering our students. Together, we raised an incredible $326,869 from over 700 generous donors! Your participation has unlocked opportunities, enhanced educational experiences, and provided crucial resources for student success. Imagine what we can accomplish when we unite like this!
A highlight of the event was the spirited competition between Carbon College/CEU Alumni and USU Eastern Alumni. Both groups rallied their supporters with creative social media campaigns and an exciting incentive, driving up alumni engagement. The result? USU Eastern doubled its donor count this year, making it an unforgettable part of the celebration.
We also introduced a unique twist this year—running the campaign for 1,888 minutes, paying homage to the year USU was founded. This extended timeframe gave even more people a chance to join a tradition that has shaped countless lives. This year we had over 150 new donors give to this campaign.
While donor numbers fluctuate year to year, the impact of each gift is profound. This year, many stepped up with larger contributions, demonstrating a deep commitment to USU’s mission. These gifts will directly enhance scholarships and programs, providing students with the support they need to thrive. Every contribution—no matter the size—creates a ripple effect that helps USU flourish. You are part of a community that celebrates success and fosters growth!
