Celebrate With Frozen Shot Glasses

Ice shot glasses are an undeniable trend, which is spreading to all strata of celebrations. From formal events like weddings and anniversary parties, to backyard barbecues and pool parties, these small frozen cups are in demand and are here to stay. More than just ice, these shot glass creations can be made with juice, soft drinks, tea, and even chocolate. And chunks of fruit, candy, and flower petals can be added to the mix for more fun.

Take a shot glass ice mold and fill it with your desired liquid and accoutrements. Do not over fill and keep in mind that liquids expand as they freeze. Place in freezer for several hours or overnight until completely frozen. Carefully remove shot glasses and place on a lined baking sheet or freezer-ready tray. Use a funnel or carefully pour by hand your favorite shot into the glasses. Again, be careful not to overfill, as to prevent spilling. Return to the freezer until you are ready to serve.
