Is it ever possible to truly be free? 100%? Does that exist?

Freedom is what Passover is all about. Being free doesn't just happen - and it is very much about the physical reality we exist in, but it's also very much about what's inside of us that limits us, that keeps us from being free.

Feeling grief can be looked at this way. We are in an enormous time of loss and uncertainty in this world. Thousands of families will be without family members at their holiday table Monday night. Those families are all of our family so we all have some degree of loss.

And of course, some families are living with this horror every minute of every day, closing on 200, without, fathers, mother, daughters, sons, babies!

It's impossible to be fully celebrating freedom while we're grieving. Will we be grieving forever? How can we be better - to ourselves, our communities, our world, to make things change to fix this

In Alex Edelman 's (another Time 100 member), Just For Us he makes a point about puzzles - you can't solve it unless you have every single piece is there and in the right place. We are missing way too many of our pieces.

So when we face a challenge, again and again, what do we do - it's not like this is a situation without precedent. Although this time there is at least an army to fight back with and the nation will live .

It's just very hard to see. And even while we grieve we have to celebrate. We have to live. Have to fight. Have to succeed. There is no alternative. Together we will win.
