Cedar Court Garden Party July 2021
As a?big thank you to?all our residents for their patience during the pandemic, we decided to hold our first Garden Party on 1st July 2021, a fabulous time was had by all.
We enjoyed a?Bar B Cue, carefully prepared by Vlad and his team, plus?live entertainment with a singer and a magician,?who entertained us throughout the afternoon.?We were fortunate with the weather too!?
?One of our VIP Guest's the Town Mayor John Robini, gave this glorious speech:-
?Good afternoon, I am Councillor John Robini the Mayor of Waverley and accompanying me is the Mayoress, my wife Councillor Jacquie Keen MBE.
?Thank you very much for the invitation to join you today for your garden party. During the pandemic we have not been invited to many events, and we have been looking forward to sharing this event with you today, and this sunny weather is a bonus.
?After I received the invitation we attended the Cranleigh Carnival, where we saw several items made by yourselves. And of course as we arrived there were many craft items you made on display, and I noticed the Easter bonnets. They were all really well done, and obviously had taken time and effort to create. Well done for this achievement.
?We would also like to thank the staff for the way in which they care for this, your home, and the facilities they provide, including of course the garden party today.
?We wish you all well for the future and look forward to seeing you all again.
