CDI draws contractual documentation for Aria and 6 other developers in Condev and ProBuild collapses
CDI is proud to have urgently drawn the contractual documentation to enable Aria, Marquee, Spyre Group, and Capital Court to continue with projects previously under construction by Condev.
Aria has successfully launched its own construction arm to complete the $50 million Riviere project in Kangaroo Point following the devastating collapse of Condev.
Riviere Constructions took on the team that was working for Condev on the 480 Main Street tower before the company’s collapse ensuring that all subcontractors and suppliers working on the tower are back on the project.
Two weeks following Condev’s collapse, work on the 124-unit Bates Smart-designed development recommenced with an actual loss of only five days work.
In a conversation with Tim Forrester (Aria’s Managing Director) and Brent Liddell, a swift decision was made to complete the project themselves.
“We had that meeting on the Monday and by the Tuesday we had started discussing it with all the staff who were on the job".
CDI was also retained by two developers to draw the contract documentation to enable completion of projects after the Probuild collapse.

2 年Congrats Steve. There must’ve been a fair bit of work in that to turn it around so quickly!
