CCTV cameras are not always reliable
The local council in Worcester have been reported recently saying how the CCTV camera on Sabrina Bridge on the night of the sad disappearance of the student, Tom Jones, near the Sabrina Bridge, said how 'the camera may not had been working due to technical problems.' Later it was revealed how the CCTV camera in question had not been working for the last 12 months! As a matter of health and safety I am sure many, especially young students would like to know just how many other cameras are out of action. Wherever CCTV cameras are, they should be in operation and if not, they are simply giving people, especially vulnerable ones a false sense of security, placing them at risk of assaults or worse! It’s about time CCTV cameras in and around the city, as well as other cities and towns all work. Finally, with regards to CCTV camera on Sabrina Bridge that hasn’t worked for the last 12 months, someone should be held accountable.

6 年What a travesty. I guess nowhere can be completely safe in the middle of the night. Poor Tom and his family.
