Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) are often referred to as vital solutions for reducing atmospheric CO2 levels.? Yet, with trillions of dollars already invested, the effectiveness of these technologies are increasingly under scrutiny. This article examines whether CCS and CCUS are the solutions needed to tackle climate challenges effectively.

This is a wonderful opinion piece, by an industry luminary. That said, there is an important and substantial opposite view that supports CCS as a critically important pathway forward. Does anyone wish to open up the debate?
