???????????? ??????????????????: CCC Investigation Workshop Report into the office of the Integrity Commissioner

The Crime and Corruption Commission’s report into the office of the Integrity Commissioner strengthens the Opposition’s calls to improve its independence and uncouple its governance from the Premier’s Public Service Commission.
Throughout this saga, the Opposition has highlighted the poor governance arrangements that could see laptops used in an Integrity Commissioner’s office taken without her knowledge (even for ‘repurposing’) as dangerous for democracy.
The fact these devices contained Integrity Commissioner records, including files on lobbyists, highlights how dangerous and inappropriate this is.
This report creates more questions than answers.
If the Department of Premier and Cabinet is responsible for IT in the office of the Integrity Commissioner, why did the Public Service Commission request the laptop??
And why can no one in the Public Service Commission remember who made the request?

2 年John Kruger. Defeating Palazac is a political matter. Given the public dissatisfaction in her performance, no amount of deflection will save her Administration. The Queensland Public Service should have no concerns or needless fears, about the return of the Liberal National Party to Government. Job security for nurses, emergency services, police, teachers, etc. Would be assured.

2 年Please Fiona please do not assume that LNP has done enough to be entitled to be elected as the next State Government. Even if you are elected the public service union is entrenched. Much restructuring must be undertaken over time Now more then ever a decent LNP GOVERNMENT is needed. Keep on working out ways to do better , like Gossy.
