This not only potentially speeds up the process but also gives the client a firsthand understanding of the challenges involved in recruiting participants.

When clients demand rushed results, it's essential to maintain quality. It is possible to get rushed and get errors, misinterpretations, and incompletes insights. Getting it right ahead of time is better. Finally, you can explain feedback and criticism and connect it straight back to the results. For example, if sacrificing quality, then would it be possible to suggest bad decisions from such rushed process? Describe steps to keep your speed intact—without breaking the rules of course, like first focusing on important data. Taking that moment to clarify expectations has led to both trust and long term results in my experience.

Expectation setting, Prioritisation and offering interim results all make sense, but practically you can also look at getting some elements done in advance - for example, develop a tab spec based on 50% of the data, run interim tables and check/amend them, and then you know when fieldwork closes, you can run the final set immediately. The same for reports, you can begin to see a story emerging before all interviews are done - can you provide the client an early view of the key report sections in advance, reducing back and forth at the end of a project? Can you set up some template charts in advance?
