cbdMD presented testimony at the public advisory committee meeting of the Science Board to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) held earlier in June. The Company’s V.P. of Science and Regulatory Affairs, Dr. Sibyl Swift, was invited to present testimony related to the safety of the Company’s products, and also set forth a sensible approach for the Agency to utilize its current resources to allow hemp extracted cannabinoids to exist as Dietary Supplements. cbdMD welcomed this unique opportunity for the Company to demonstrate its leadership and commitment to providing the highest quality hemp extracted cannabinoid Dietary Supplements as they look to provide a pathway for better product efficacy and industry-wide regulation.
