CBD and its use in COVID 19 Treatment

In response to my previous article I have put together some bullet points of our studies at Hamminh Research, LLC. regarding the use of CBD in treating inflammation including those of the Pulmonary ills associated with the COVID virus. We are reaching out to various research teams around the globe to share their findings and test the actual effectiveness of the CBD spectrum.

1. Over a decade ago Clinical studies in Israel and elsewhere regarding the Ebola Virus found that the major damage to the patient was being caused by what is now termed a "Cytokine Storm". This is the over reaction of the body's immune system sending out massive amounts of white blood cells which in turn triggers an even greater release of more. This led to the destruction of the pulmonary systems with blood clots and vascular leakage etc. It was found that a cocktail of Steroids and CBD oils helped suppress the immune system and led to a better chance of recovery.

2. In 2018 Harvard studied the effects of CBD and found that one caution in the use was to consult your physician prior to use, especially if you were on a blood thinner such as Coucumin in that CBD had the same blood thinning effect. 

3. April 2020 Scientists in Canada have shown results that CBD can not only inhibit the effect of the "Cytokine Storm" but may also play a part in protecting the body from the initial infection. They think that CBD protects the cannabinoid receptors from invasion by the virus. Studies are early but very promising.

4. May 2020, Scripps Institute released its study for causes of death from the virus and found that ARDS a type of pneumonia was a major factor but that 70% of deaths were being caused by pulmonary embolisms aka blood clots.

5. April 2020 Stanford University has determined it can identify those who have contracted the virus by specific heart rhythms and temperature monitoring and can do so remotely.

 The culmination of this evidence and others has some basic conclusions that cannot be verified without meaningful clinical studies with strong mathematical relevance. But the general consensus is that CBD could play a major part in a treatment of the Virus and help prevent the "Cytokine Storm".

Second if we can voluntarily, remotely identify those with electronic devices, who are infected and trace their movements and their reactions to a CBD dosage, we can build such a study and rapidly determine its actual effectiveness as opposed to just logical conjecture. This can then be submitted to the FDA for an emergency fast track study to commence.
