The CBD Guide to Pain Management

Conventional wisdom tells us to simply fill our prescriptions and take our medications, but what happens when these medications, like NSAIDs, fail us?

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is an all natural, non-psychoactive plant compound derived from hemp or marijuana. Though its origins fan the flames of controversy, cannabinoids are actually naturally occurring in our own bodies and are known as endocannabinoids. New research, in fact, suggests that endocannabinoid deficiency may be responsible for many medical conditions that are currently treated with NSAIDs from IBS to fibromyalgia. Compared to non-Aspirin NSAIDs which have their own slew of risks including heart attack and stroke, CBD offers a mild yet effective treatment for managing pain and inflammation.
