The?China Consumer 2023 Conference?and the?CBBC Summer Reception?are taking place on the?4th?of July?in the?heart of Mayfair. CBBC Chair,?Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles & Chief?Executive, Andrew Seaton visits China
Between?17th-26th May,?CBBC's Chair, Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, and Chief Executive, Andrew Seaton, arrived in China to begin their first visit since late 2019. Their visit covered Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou. Their trip included a range of meetings with senior Chinese Government officials, and engagements with CBBC Members and stakeholders across China.

Targeting Net Zero: UK Regional Net Zero Investment Opportunities
On 26th April,?CBBC kickstarted the first series of roundtables?exploring what role Chinese companies can play in supporting different regions of the?UK to hit their Net Zero targets, and how Green Finance can incentivise this.?
It was fantastic to learn about all the great activity that is going on to engage with China. Sponsors of the series,?HSBC, highlighted that it's now not only about?"greening finance" but about "financing green", and that the finances are often there but that projects sometimes require aggregation before meeting market demands.?
