In the Spotlight
Last month, the CBBC Consumer team headed down to Edinburgh to tour the new?Johnnie Walker?experience store on invitation by our member company?Diageo. The tour provided us with an immersive distilling experience with AI and historical re-enactment.?
"Johnny Walker's experience store in Edinburgh is probably the most immersive recreation of the centuries old tradition of distilling and appreciating whisky that I have visited. The brand also challenged creative perceptions of whisky products by collaborating with Harris Tweed and Chinese designer Angel Chen to create bespoke limited editions that tapped into different celebrations such as Burns Night and Chinese New year"?-?Antoaneta Becker,?Director Consumer Economy at CBBC.
Earlier last year we also had the pleasure of welcoming?the?Chinese Ambassador?to Johnnie Walker. We would like to thank Diageo for our wonderful tour. And we look forward to heading up to Scotland again soon.?
