Five-year study shows the power of audio!
Research company Dentsu completed a 5-year study seeking to better understand consumer attention.??Findings showed that audio earned?+56% more attention?than all other measured media - ahead of TV, online video, social, and display advertising. Brand recall for audio ad-exposed consumers also exceeded other media, and Dentsu norms, at?41%. And audio delivered a?+10%?increase in brand choice, ahead of Dentsu's media benchmarks. The strong findings for audio as a whole translate well across the three audio channels tested, as each platform displayed its own strengths for outperforming video ads.?
To summarize, the Dentsu study not only showed how audio drives attention, but that audio platforms, including radio, are among the most cost-effective options for advertisers.?That “bang for the buck” is critical for local advertisers who need each and every dollar to work.?If your business is not doing radio, NOW is the perfect time to tap into audio advertising!

Cayuga Market Place- great place for local businesses to image and sell!
Our local e-commerce website www.cayugamarketplace.com is having a record year.?Part of the success likely comes from an immediate lift from consumers “shopping from home” during Covid.?That trend seems to have remained here in 2023.?How it works:?We exchange advertising for promotional certificates from area companies.?These companies want and need advertising.?In exchange, we take in their certificates and sell them to the general public…at a discount.?Because supplies are limited, the consumers see the value in the discount and purchase them.?In addition to advertising, the business receives new customers and all the promotional support of the website including photos, links, and selling points.?The site shows the power of radio and the proof that our medium and stations are excellent at selling products.?We love supporting our local businesses!?To see if Cayuga Marketplace is a good fit for your business- give us a call!
