CAVITATED BOPP / PEARL BOPP
Cavitated BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) is a type of film used mainly in the food industry, which is an ideal packaging - ice cream, chocolate bar and bottle label / Wrap around Labels is produced, among other things like Synthetic papers.
Cavitation Agents: During the extrusion process, specific additives (such as calcium carbonate or other nucleating agents) are mixed into the polymer. These agents create micro-voids within the film structure when heated.
The main feature of this film is micro-cavitation - small cave - which are produced during film production.
Cavitated BOPP aims to maintain ambiguity standards and mechanical and printing properties for all types of packaging, yet reducing density and making it lightweight. To obtain micro-caking, this film has been taken out once, oriented at one time; It is scaled vertically and horizontally, making micro punching. This biaxal orientation process reduces the density of the film and gives it the form of pearls, which is the specialty of BOPP film.

Thank you for sharing this informative post on Cavitated BOPP film. It's interesting to learn about the process of creating micro-cavities in the film structure to reduce density and achieve a pearlized appearance. We can see how this film would be ideal for food packaging, especially for products that require protection from light exposure. #lowdensity #pearlfilm #BOPP #labelfacestock Cosmo Films Chiripal Group Toppan Speciality Films: TSF (Formerly Max Speciality Films) Satyendra Packaging Ltd.

I am curious to know about the price calculations of various films.
