You asked, we listened! Many of you said you wanted more content creation tips to help foster your LinkedIn journey. Our new “Content Corner” section will include tips, tricks and advice to help you along the way.

If you prefer sharing in-depth content with your community, you may have considered publishing an article or newsletter on LinkedIn. Here’s the lowdown on what makes an article vs. a newsletter, as one may be more suitable for your needs over the other. Articles: Your opportunity to go deeper on any subject, beyond what short-form posts allow. Each article is its own story; the format is ideal for addressing wide-ranging subjects that needn't be connected. Standalone articles don't receive automated in-app and email notifications, but they do get distributed to your network in the feed like all content.

Newsletters: Your best way of building a regular audience that keeps returning for content on a specific topic you are passionate about. Newsletters receive automated in-app and email notifications, keeping you connected with your audience so they don’t miss a publication.

Which method of longer-form publishing do you prefer? And which do you prefer to read as a subscriber/follower?
