I believe strongly that Thought Leaders are change agents who contribute positively and fiercely to make the world a better place and they're synonymous with cause marketing. If you want to see change - you have to be the change you want to see in the world. This begins with cause marketing - in other words - a rebel with a cause - i.e. marketing your cause for greater good by spreading the 'gospel' of your cause so that it may impact more lives.
Mail Chimp describes 'Cause marketing' as marketing that involves a collaboration between a for-profit business and a not-for-profit organization for a common benefit. Cause marketing can also refer to social or charitable campaigns put on by for-profit brands.?
The latter is how I see GIVA and our cause marketing model! It's a festival of harvest designed to set our hearts aflame to ignite others. It's more than just an award platform. GIVA is a Gift That Keeps Giving. Our Alumni (and partners) keep blossoming and transforming lives as they provide *important solutions to those that need them most!?
What is cause marketing and is it for you?
In an age where transparency is vital to their bottom line, businesses are realizing that consumers are concerned with their impact on society.?Consumers expect brands to be socially responsible in fact:

In our case, our Cause marketing involves a collaboration between female entrepreneur personal brands like yourself or your business for our common benefit. We've curated this social campaign platform as a for-profit brand GIVA with 10% of our profits benefiting The HML Foundation .
"Typically, a brand’s association with a not-for-profit will boost their (brand) corporate social responsibility. The not-for-profit, in exchange for their ethical contributions to the collaboration, creates more awareness for their organization."? While this explanation refers to 'Corporate and or organizations' Cause marketing itself is not reserved for big trans-nationals! The collaboration in fact works more equitably between small - medium sized enterprises such as SMBS and solopreneurs because their is more of a human-connection and a personal touch. Even more so - an authentic personal purpose as opposed to what is usually 'window dressing CSR' for big corps.
?Either way, it goes without saying; "as new generations bring in new values, businesses must learn to pivot their strategies in order to keep up. Businesses that care about sustainability and ethics are at the top of consumers’ lists, and cause marketing can help bring a business’s social responsibility to their customers’ attention," explains Mail Chimp.
