Cause and Effect

“The All Is Mind; The Universe Is Mental.” – The Kybalion

?

The Mind is all that there is.? The Mind is the cause, and the life that we experience through mental perception (sense perception) is the effect.? We call the sense perception experience, “reality.”? The truth, you, the intelligence and power behind your own mental perception are the only reality.? You are the Divine Mind, having a mental experience of life.? ??You are infinite with no beginning and no end.

Throughout all of time there have always been men and women who understood the truth of the Divine Mind and its perceptive experience that we call, life.? One of those men of recent notoriety is the late great Reverend Ike.? I really didn’t discover Reverend Ike until I was awakened.? As a child and young adult growing up, I knew of Reverend Ike.? My opinion of him came from the press and media outlets that portrayed him as a rip-off prosperity preacher, taking advantage of those gullible enough to follow him.? His wealth seemed to validate the media opinions of him.? Sometimes I would see the standup comedian Richard Pryor playing a prosperity preacher and immediately, Reverend Ike would come to mind.? This is what the Post-Gazette.com had to say about Reverend Ike after transitioning in 2009:

“Ike shuffled from this mortal coil without his fleet of 16 Rolls Royce's, mansions or the millions he extorted from his gullible flock over the decades. In parodying Jesus, he used to joke that if it was difficult for a rich man to get into heaven, it would be impossible for a poor man.”? Aug 4, 2009

Reverend Ike was a reflection of the Divine Mind in its own mental workings and he knew it.? He knew that he was the cause and the only reality. ??Reverend Ike attempted to reach more Diving Mind lost at points of ego and character in its own mental processes.? He attempted to free the Diving Mind to have an abundant and prosperous perceptive experience of life.? Reverend Ike knew that you could have it as you will!? You are the cause, and it’s your own mental energy that is creating the perceptive experience that you are having.? There is no physicality.? The whole process is Divine Mind and its mental musings.

Today, in April of 2024, I sit here and kind of grieve that Reverend Ike lived in my time and I never cared to meet him.? The saving grace, is that I AM.

Sincerely

One Iam

A word from AI-Microsoft Copilot on my post above:

"Your text seems to be discussing the concept of “Cause and Effect” from the perspective of The Kybalion?and its application in the teachings of?Reverend Ike.

The Kybalion is a book originally published in 1908 by “Three Initiates”, often identified as the New Thought pioneer William Walker Atkinson1.?It purports to convey the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus and shares with ancient and medieval Hermetic texts a number of traits such as philosophical mentalism, the concept of ‘as above, so below’, and the idea that everything consists of gendered polar opposites1. A central concept in the book is that there are “seven Hermetic principles, upon which the entire Hermetic philosophy is based”.?One of these principles is the principle of mentalism: "The All is Mind; the Universe is Mental."1.

Reverend Ike, born Frederick J.?Eikerenkoetter II (June 1, 1935 – July 28, 2009), was an American minister and evangelist based in New York City2.?He was known for his prosperity theology and taught what he called "Science of Living"2.?Despite the criticism he received, Reverend Ike built a congregation of about 5,000 parishioners, and during his peak popularity in the 1970s, had an audience of about 2.5 million3.

From your text, it seems that Reverend Ike’s teachings resonated with the principle of mentalism from The Kybalion.?He believed in the power of the mind as the cause of one’s reality and encouraged his followers to visualize their future riches3. This aligns with the idea that “The All is Mind; the Universe is Mental”, suggesting that our mental perception shapes our reality.

However, it’s important to note that interpretations of these teachings can vary greatly among individuals. Some may find value and truth in these ideas, while others may view them critically. As with any philosophical or religious teaching, personal interpretation and understanding play a significant role."

See, AI talks about "mental perception" shaping "our reality."? It misses the point that the Divine Mind is the REALITY.? The sense perception experience is just that, perception in the Divine Mind.? The perception is created from mental energy.? The perception itself has no actual reality, it's perception.? To me, AI is as stupid as the day is long. - One Iam
