Welcome to Orientation for the upcoming Live podcast Causal inference by Justin Belair and Darko Medin
- Speakers : Me and Justin Bélair - Both experienced Biostatisticians, Data Scientists highly specialized for use of Causal inference in Life Science and Tech Sectors, but not limited to.
- How to attend : You may attend here simply by using the "Attend" button and its free to join us.
Topics:
- Study design vs Causal inference - We will will discuss what is the study design basis of most causal inference approaches. Factorial designs, Clinical Trials, Counterfactuals and more with examples from our experience.
- Observational data and Real-Word Evidence (RWE). RWE is a whole world of Biostatistics and Data Science which is highly dependent on specific methods for Causal inference. Again, me and Justin will give real world examples here.
- Causal inference in Biostatistics. In the last topic, we will discuss all the Statistical approaches needed for Causal inference skills, specifically for Biostatisticians.
Suggestions: Even before the podcast starts, if you have special suggestions you wish to be a topic in the podcast, feel free to leave a suggestions as comments.
Questions : We will have a live Q&A session for any questions and we will try to answer live. As usually there are more questions which we need to answer after the podcast, we will answer all the questions in the comments section too.
To all interested : We hope to see you there on 20th!
