At Cattler, we’re always working to make your day-to-day operations smoother and more efficient. Our latest updates are designed to give you even more flexibility and control over your feedlot management. Here’s what’s new:
?? New EID Reader Integration with Pen Rider on Mobile
We’ve added a new EID reader integration to the Pen Rider feature on our mobile app! Now, you can identify animals directly from your phone using an EID reader—bringing even more efficiency to your fieldwork. This update reinforces Cattler as the most flexible cattle management software for everyday tasks in the field.
?? Lot Fees: New Mortality Fee
With our new Mortality Fee, you can assign a handling cost when an animal dies. Like other fees, you can set a default value and customize it by client. This fee is automatically reflected in both the closeout and invoices, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
?? Bunk Score: Call Step Setting
We’ve added a Call Step option to the feed bunk scoring system. Now, when you adjust rations, the system will follow the set call step—saving you time and making feed adjustments even easier. As always, Cattler adapts to you.

? 2025 Ag Summit & Expo – February 12, Council Bluffs, IA The Ag Summit & Expo was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our users and showcase the latest advancements in Cattler’s technology. We had the chance to meet with producers, discuss industry challenges, and demonstrate how our platform is helping optimize feedlot operations. Events like these allow us to strengthen relationships and better understand the needs of the industry.
? Kent Event – February 19, Paynesville, MN Our Northern Region Sales Manager, Sam Arinardi, was invited to speak about the importance of record-keeping systems for improving feedlot efficiency. His presentation at the Hilton Restaurant highlighted how accurate data can drive better decisions and higher profits.

Field Tours – Western Nebraska, South Dakota, and Northern Iowa Our team recently traveled across Western Nebraska, South Dakota, and Northern Iowa, meeting with producers, nutritionists, and key partners. These face-to-face visits allowed us to understand the real-world impact of our technology, gather valuable feedback, and explore new ways to support our customers’ operations.
