Are Cats InSane or In Tune? or Both?

I learn a lot from people when I see how they respond to being with cats or even the thoughts of cats. Have you noticed the wide range of acceptable responses that can arise in humans on this topic? Are cats crazy or saner than we are?
Some, and I would say most, people seem to rather enjoy felines, though some dislike them and are even afraid of them. Then there are those people who are "allergic" to them and those who are suspicious of them. Some seemingly couldn't care less about them and there are those who appreciate them but from a stance of indifference.
I am a cat person, through and through.
There! Do you think you know something deeper about me and my personality now that I have admitted that?
I am homeschooled literally by our 3 cats, Winston, Despacito, and Valentino, and they teach me so many important things about life. They are not vicious or angry as a rule (I trust they could become so) but can get upset if their boxes aren't clean or they are not fed on time (at their discretion). They can whine at other times (meows happen only when humans are around??), but generally just roam around the house, lie down in these incredible spaces built specifically for them, or, on occasion, in places that they discover for themselves that leave them more comfortable in that moment than I seemingly have ever been in my life. I love admiring that level of comfort. It reminds me of what life has to offer when I am not caught up with meeting deadlines, fixing relationships, creating futures, and worrying or feeling underwhelmed or underequipped. They surely know how to ask for the love of their own. I wish I had that amount of grace and tenacity.
By my assessment, I believe that cats are all of it. They are proud without being haughty (except when that serves them for a small interval of time) and are so chill mostly all day. They are playful beyond belief and whimsical and clean, meticulous and artful, athletic and hilarious, beautiful and warm, loving and soothing, good-spirited and in-tuned, and mischievous.
They remind me that we are here on Earth for a short time and if and when we stop being caught up in our manufactured life troubles and problems, we too can be imaginative, loving, and restful and bask in our sun shining through those cracks in our curtains.

2 年I am surrounded by at least 20 cats in a virtual colony. I could film them all day, especially when the young ones are finding their way and holding their own alongside the adults. Yup, just got it now, that's why they are called "copycats". Moreover, they seem to be just like human beings and being human, they will approach when safe or hungry enough. And there is jealousy and being top cat and preparedness to scratch another's eyes out. How different can they be, when they communicate, come for affection and company? They already know the kind of person anyone is and may as well be said, I do wonder about reincarnation with cats. I feed several as like Carl Perkins, they bang on my door, but is true they can never stop eating? I have heard that said, but I am measured in feeding each a handful of food twice a day, and then they sit or go outside and lie in the sun. Yeah, they make great company for me and follow me round as though I was the Cat Whisperer ?? They do not seem deranged unless they have been mistreated or are needy and remind me that I too, can stay in tune ??
