Earlier this month, we kicked off our work with AccountsIQ as its official communications partner. We’re focused on elevating accounting tech in the finance function and achieving strong results. Thanks to PRWeek for covering our partnership!
Another episode, another terrific guest on the CommsCo Tech Chat. This time it’s the turn of Carbon Re COO Buffy Price to chat to Tomisin Fayemi and Lee Wakefield about all things sustainability. The trio dissect the challenges of engaging the public and industry figures in the fight, paired with Carbon Re’s fantastic work and Buffy’s personal commitments to the cause. As always, the episode comes to a close with the CC Quickfire - and what follows is a first in Tech Chat history!
Out And About
Nothing beats catching up with our clients in person, so Leah Jones , Roseanna Lane and Louise O'Connell met up with the VivaCity team for a productive planning session. This, of course, was followed by some pints down the local.
Ilona Hitel and Leah also grabbed drinks with Ian Macleod to chat about all things Hokodo and were visited by the wonderful Stu Wilson from Endace (all the way from New Zealand).

This Month’s Highlight
Our work with Peak kicked off with an announcement on its new AI performance guarantee. A 2024 survey by GlobalData found that around 27% of businesses already had a high adoption rate of AI, however, over 30% of businesses also stated that they were not overly confident about integrating generative AI tools. Peak’s performance guarantee demonstrates to businesses that adopting technology to optimise their inventories doesn’t need to be high-risk.

eflow Global ’s CEO Ben Parker joined TechFinitive.com for a Q&A earlier this month, discussing the impact of AI on the fintech sector. Yes, it will be considerable, but Ben explains how it’s not the only disruptive force in the tech world; many startups are having to shift their focus towards sustainable revenue. How that’s managed, however, is easier said than done.
Earlier this week, First AML announced a new survey, which found that only 49% of the c-suite feel somewhat confident about their company’s anti-money laundering processes. The eye-opening statistics don’t stop there; although there’s a clear apprehension surrounding non-compliance, it’s worrying that 39% have gone on to decrease their anti-money laundering budgets in 2024 in comparison to 2023, as reported by European Business Review .
