In Brief

• ?? The Sendai Framework (2015-2030) recognizes that gender perspectives need to be integrated across the spectrum of disaster risk reduction (DRR) policies and practices, highlighting the imperative for women’s participation and leadership. On March 18, the Gender Action Plan – on which RET consulted – was launched. Read more about it here (photo below).
• ???? In Türkiye, with support from 美国国务院 's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (BPRM), we inaugurated the "My Life Community Center" which will provide protection and psychosocial services to the community in Kayseri. Check out more here.
• ?? On March 13 and 14, the Caribbean School Safety Initiative (CSSI), which works to ensure the right to quality and inclusive education for all, hosted a virtual forum to review current progress, discuss lessons learnt, and set the agenda for the next meeting in 2025.
