Stories of Impact

Better health and care are the cornerstone of our work at Delft.

Here are some stories of timely interventions and hope:

  1. Socios En Salud actively screened for TB using CAD4TB in remote communities of Loreto and other parts of the Peruvian jungle last year, contributing to the health system. Read more here .
  2. iNTP released a fascinating case study on deploying ten Delft Light systems equipped with CAD4TB software in Vietnam. The first-ever nationwide rollout of ultra-portable X-ray and CAD is a significant stride in demonstrating the potential of these groundbreaking tools on a large scale. Learn about it here .
  3. In their recent newsletter, NTP Kenya discussed the impact CAD4TB had on detecting TB cases at Kalobeyei Refugee Settlement’s healthcare centre in Kenya. You can read it here .

Bridging Gaps: Spotlighting Resource-Constrained Solutions

Silicosis is an occupational lung disease caused by chronic exposure to silica dust, affecting millions of workers worldwide. Leveraging our expertise in AI-powered CAD4TB, we are proud to develop CAD4Silicosis. The novel AI software automatically interprets chest X-ray images to detect silicosis and/or TB.

Creating Impact

Here is a glimpse into two of our ongoing collaborations this year that are making a difference in lives, already:

Recently, we collaborated with the Lamin Health Center in Gambia , delivering them an EasyDR with a bed and CAD4TB. They can now provide much-needed screening services to their patients while ensuring comfort.

Similarly, you may spot the Delft Light backpacks making rounds in Aleppo, Syria . Used for active case-finding, they are screening people for TB and bridging gaps in healthcare delivery.

Championing Sustainability & Social Impact

At Delft Imaging, our passion drives us to create a better future. Last year, we launched the Delft Imaging Coding Club, inspiring young school children in Ghana to explore coding—the driving force behind our everyday technology. This year, our commitment has expanded to three additional schools in Ghana.

Delft in the Limelight

  • Delft Imaging has been nominated by the Koning Willem I Stichting in two prestigious categories: MKB and Sustainability Entrepreneurship. This recognition strengthens our commitment to providing quality screening and CAD solutions in regions that need them the most.
