During the Abu Dhabi Finance Week the most important topics were: Falcon Economy and Sustainable Finance. A new trend emerges where institutions want to invest in projects that push the "sustainable" envelope. Investments still need to make money to be good, but now they also need to be addressing real-world issues. Technology for technology's sake is no longer what investors are looking for.

Let's take blockchain as an example. Of course, you can create another speculative product and turn a huge profit. But what if you can tokenize Real World Assets (RWAs) and bring misunderstood technology into the physical world - this way more people can be interested. What if those RWAs are connected to sustainability goals - lowering emissions, pushing the needle on climate change in the right direction? Better yet - what if those RWAs are helping underserved communities and countries?

People from across the world were discussing how to make technology more accessible, more sustainable, and we gladly joined the discussion.

Speaking of Abu Dhabi announcements, we were particularly excited to hear about GIGATECH - a new venture choosing Alephium, our blockchain partner, as its core infrastructure. They're launching an ambitious project to create the world's first tokenized green blockchain mining and AI data center.
