ICYMI: His AIGA Design session “Cultural Shifts Within the Margins” was a reminder to both creatives and executives everywhere that media thrives on diverse perspectives, and embracing identity is key to creating impactful work. As we all reflect on the ways we champion inclusivity in our creative spaces, here are some of our favorite insights from the session: You will be challenged by others. Some people might want to control your narrative, or some people might want to push their own agenda on your narrative. It’s okay to push back. If you’re ever in a situation where there isn’t a diverse perspective, speak up. When we give marginalized groups real influence and responsibility—especially in decision-making, it makes all the difference. Thanks for the reminders, Hieu Luong.

We all know how helpful Google Workspace tools can be—Gmail, Chat and Docs have been making our lives easier for years. But how do you show the world that these tools are even more powerful when used together? That was our challenge: To showcase the prowess of Google Workspace as a powerfully interconnected system. To appeal to everyone from the front lines to the back office, we needed to move beyond individual tools and highlight their combined strength. But we wanted to go deeper than spotlighting product benefits. We wanted to capture the spirit of Google Workspace and show how it creates new points of connection and empowers real people to do amazing things. So we tapped into the power of real-life work experiences, showing how the integrations, new user interface, and AI-driven features work together on a platform that teams already know and love. We infused humor, personality and just as much heart. And our work resonated so well that it was even featured in LinkedIn’s Best in Business showcase.
