Casting a Value Support Team

Casting a Value Support Team

In the various personality profiles over the years, I always show up as either a ‘motivating inspirer’?or an ‘inspiring motivator’.?That means oodles of sunshine yellow energy blended with an abundance of fiery red energy.???For those not versed in such exercises, the result means a?‘glass half full’ action-oriented gal who effortlessly motivates and inspires those around them. Also, a realist, ‘accepting situations as they are, recognizing what is real or possible, with the ability to think critically and objectively while seeing things from different perspectives, ready to adjust or adapt accordingly’.?This blend of characteristics affords a capacity to advance every challenge through passion, grit, determination, and creativity while surrounded by a dream team.

?

In a silent quest to contribute my personal and professional service, expertise, and passion to improving the state of our healthcare system, for you, your family, your friends, for me, my family, my friends, together with all the other Nova Scotians, I seek out any opportunity to engage in conversations with like minded folk.?Those who understand and accept our healthcare catastrophe is not going to right itself, nor are dollars alone our way out.?Those who believe we've far exceeded our quota of opinions, assessments, and comments from the myriad of armchair critics across the land. Those who are just as eager to do their part on whatever level they can to ensure safe quality and timely healthcare is available when and where they need it.?Those who know cooperation and collaboration is a must if we want to ensure access to such essential services is available today and tomorrow, not just in years to come, but in our day, in 2023.??Those who know politicians and bureaucrats can’t and shouldn’t be expected to do it alone.?

?

You might say there is a need to cast a value support team behind the scenes.?I am quietly rallying others who have the same passion and commitment to making a difference here and now.?Those who will round out the scene for realism’s sake and provide a sense of practicality within the environment the main cast (politicians and bureaucrats) is engaging with – OUR healthcare.

?

We in the public can become so preoccupied with what is going on in our own lives that it is sometimes tedious or even overwhelming, to take in the vast amount of information coming at us everyday. Information that we may consider less pertinent or even irrelevant to our individual situation.?Yet there are messages that often seep into our subconscious minds – those that lie on the periphery. We know they exist, but we don’t pay particular attention to them, until we, or someone we love, are affected.?But there are compelling forever causes and campaigns that grab our attention, tugging on our heart strings or gnawing at our worry gene, gradually seeping into our consciousness to the degree that we find ourselves observing, following, or even subscribing to them.

?

The status of OUR healthcare is an issue most likely on almost everyone’s minds and at the same time causing??concern to a level that far exceeds just fretting.?I hope the attention and interest of most of us, is to do all we possibly can to avoid being in the situation where we can’t receive safe, quality, and timely healthcare when we need it.

?

To all whose destiny has led you to reading my Blog and perhaps awakened your desire to surface as a difference maker by saying ‘enough’ to the healthcare hamster wheel we find ourselves and to acting ‘accordingly’ at a time when what we need most is a cast of thousands to share the same desire, I hope my commitment to pursue other healthcare consumers wanting to do their part, gives you at the very least, pause for consideration.

?

If it does, I ask you to ponder whether you are up for revealing your?willingness?the quality or state of being prepared to do something, your?credentials?a qualification, achievement, personal quality, or aspect of a person's background, typically when used to indicate that they are suitable for something, and your?availability?the quality of being able to be used or obtained or the freedom to do something.?All of these factors are important in taking the first step to identifying whether or not you want to be cast for the team of extras.?If you discover you have the personal quality, resolve and freedom to do something together in the name of OUR healthcare, please DM me. You could be the dream team waiting in the wings to soar.

?

Qualifier - It is difficult to predict every step we will take, or where exactly this journey will lead us, but what I do know is that any ripples, whether little or wide, we do make, we are sure to build momentum in righting OUR healthcare ship.?Why not take a chance to have a strong part in making a difference?
