Is cash still king?
Hi, it’s Ed here,
One of the team was on a recent trip in Europe and tried to pay for a meal with their card. They were met with looks of dismay and even disgust even though the restaurant clearly stated they accepted cards. Cash was very much preferred.
Others have also experienced the same, whilst on a recent trip to London there were many places I simply couldn’t use cash.
So what’s happening in commerce? Are we moving towards a cashless society or not?
