Personally, every new job needs to give me more than what I am earning right now, holding everything else constant. If i work 8 hrs remotely than next job should have the same working condition plus incentive for me to make my move. If working condition change than more financial incentive is needed on top of the obvious increment I need compare to my existing job.

Not for me. Its location and flexibility. Because once you reach a certain amount of money and lifestyle, you dont need extra. Most software engineering roles give you enough to enjoy a nice apartment in the city, eat out at nice places, entertainment etc and as long as the rest gives you enough to enjoy the place you are living in, it's all good enough. Because in the end of the day, money is just a number in the bank account, it's how you spend your life that's important.
