The case where wise man wins over ChatGPT

This post is inspired by the trending #Chatgpt at the moment. It is really amazing the way these responses are generated by chatgpt for many questions on various topics. Be it programming or troubleshooting or generative text for a scientific article. I was wondering whether it could answer a question where there is some logical reasoning involved and I tried with this short puzzle 17 camels and 3 sons version put in a different context (https://www.kidsworldfun.com/17-camels-and-3-sons-short-story.php). Though it couldn't solve the puzzle correctly, I am impressed by the way it reasoned about the problem and generated a reasonable solution, not correct though. For the moment, the wise man in the story wins. But the gap is narrowing. But wait, the story isn't over yet. Before concluding, I tried to give it a hint and see if it picks it up correctly and it did!!!
