CASE STUDY: Optimising the Employee Experience

About the client: The Anglican Trust for Women and Children (ATWC) is an Auckland-based charity supporting mothers, Tamariki and families through their family services, early education, and social work.

What problem did they have? Due to their widespread mobile workforce across the community, ATWC needed to upgrade to a secure platform that allowed easy, mobile access to shared files, plus instant chat, video and voice-calling. They were struggling with computers that were accessible only at the main offices and urgently needed to modernise their digital mobile workspace.

How did we solve it? First, we went through ATWC’s communication process to discover their operations pain points, to ensure we understood the unique ways their teams worked. We tailored a solution that would serve them long term, holistically and maximise the benefits of these tools, as opposed to resolving one isolated issue.

The result: Business Refinery created a customised & mobile platform for ATWC using Microsoft Teams solving their need for increased work mobility. 196 ATWC staff now have improved digital work accessibility, digital security and mobility!
