Case Study: Load Shifting

Vasco da Gama CoLAB is working on several projects related to energy storage.

Our strategic projects are ongoing. They are related to redox flow batteries, supercapacitors, power electronics and energy management. In parallel, transversal projects that merge the three research areas are taking place.

One of this projects is the Transversal Project "Hybrid Energy Storage Storage Stationary System". In this context, we performed several case studies to understand the applications where Redox Flow Batteries fit better. Today, we present some interesting thoughts about the load shifting technique assisted by a redox flow battery. ??
