An Intro

DEV-UP was approached by HVK Stevens to provide a solution for their document management needs. The company wanted a solution that would streamline the process of managing their customer’s files and folders and provide an efficient way of accessing them. HVK Stevens was in search of a solution that would remove administrative hurdles and provide the flexibility to access their documents through Teams and SharePoint.

DEV-UP leveraged the power of AFAS API and Power Automate to link SharePoint to AFAS and provide a solution that met HVK Stevens’ needs. The solution enabled the creation of a complete folder structure for customers through Teams or SharePoint, and all files and folders added to the folder were automatically synced to AFAS. Any files added by the customers were also automatically synced back to SharePoint, ensuring that all documents were accessible and up-to-date.

The result was a link that helped the customer with the use of AFAS and strengthened the use of AFAS. The customer now had document management for their customers via SharePoint & Teams, which were automatically synced to AFAS and synced back, making their work much easier and efficient.

The objective of this assignment was to provide a seamless document management solution for HVK Stevens using AFAS API and Power Automate. The solution was aimed at removing administrative hurdles and providing flexibility to access documents through Teams and SharePoint.

Solution

DEV-UP linked SharePoint to AFAS using AFAS API and Power Automate. The solution enabled the creation of a complete folder structure for customers through Teams or SharePoint.
