ASAP "atypical small acinar proliferation"
By the book, ASAP is a ratable impairment. Reasoning stems from the studies done suggesting that “ASAP” is “borderline” cancer. Per the American Cancer Society, 40% of men who have ASAP on their prostate biopsy will be found to have prostate cancer upon repeat biopsy – within 6 months.
A recent client, age 60, was diagnosed with ASAP at age 52. Last biopsy 7 years ago was negative. Has regular follow ups with his doctor.
We were able to secure $20M of coverage at preferred rates with an A-rated carrier.
