The Cascade365 Family of Companies
Accounts Receivable Liquidity Solutions
As some may already be aware, Team Cascade365 recently experienced a great loss. Cascade365’s General Manager of Collections, Ray Vincioni, passed away in April. Ray was a friend, colleague, and all-around great person.
His effervescent energy, positive outlook, and tenacious work effort was an example to us all at Cascade365. Ray lives on through those that he so greatly influenced, including Team Cascade365. RIP Ray.

Cascade365 Advocates in Washington, D.C. with ACA International, Inc.
Compliance Update
ACA International, Inc. (ACA) held their 2023 Washington Insights Fly-In event on Capitol Hill from May 15 to May 17. This event is ACA’s annual advocacy conference featuring congressional speakers, legislative and regulatory updates, and Capitol Hill meetings. Cascade365’s Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel, Shaun Ertischek, attended the event and engaged in lobbying efforts with members of Congress. Mr. Ertischek serves on ACA’s Federal Affairs Committee and has taken a strong interest in advocating on behalf of the industry.
At the conference, many critical issues were discussed, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regulatory process, medical debt credit reporting changes, data security and privacy, as well as call and text message rulemaking at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
ACA members heard from numerous members of the House of Representatives as well as Senator Ted Budd (R-NC), engaged in regulatory presentations, received a state and federal advocacy overview – including an outlook for the 118th Congress, and held a Healthcare Receivables Briefing at the Rayburn House Office Building featuring representatives of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM). Congressional members and their staff attended the briefing, which focused on important issues impacting patients’ health and finances.
Mr. Ertischek had meetings on Capitol Hill with staffers from the offices of Senator Warnock (D-GA) and Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-GA-11).?He also had a chance encounter with Representative Matt Cartwright (D-PA-08) who, after being briefed on a couple of issues by Mr. Ertischek, acknowledged the need for “common sense reform.”
Mr. Ertischek looks forward to continuing his advocacy efforts to educate members of Congress and regulators, strengthen the industry, and achieve more optimal results for consumers and patients.

I have been with the Cascade365 Family of Companies for over 5 years. As the Director of HR, I handle all things people related and focus on continuing the positive, supportive culture that is Cascade365.
Prior to joining the Cascade365 team, I was the director of HR for three major SF law firms, where I not only learned a lot from working closely with attorneys; but I also learned that I had to be able to back everything up with facts. I have also spent a number of years as an HR consultant and project manager for a diverse group of businesses, including Salesforce, McKesson, and many smaller organizations, where I had to quickly learn and assimilate into new businesses, add value, and accomplish goals. I take my continuing education seriously and spend time and effort staying on top of local, state, and federal employment laws and significant legal cases.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling, visiting museums, repurposing textiles, and quilting. My husband, Michael, and I have one daughter, Geneva, and two cats, Wilson & Ozzy. While Geneva was attending Ravensbourne University in London, my husband and I were completely spoiled as we had an excuse to visit London each year. We became totally hooked on the museums, street markets, and pubs. Although our travel has slowed down, we are planning a trip to Italy next year and hope to stop in London for a pint.
