Reach for the stars! A cliche associated will every glitzy and trashed-up success story.

But listen up!

If you don't project yourself into stardom, nobody will do it for you.

The biggest epiphany I ever had in my life was getting that I'm fully responsible for my life.

I used to hate that idea - it was he most negative statement that I could conjure in the thousands of possible negative statements that hovered in the peripherals of my conscious mind. It dragged me down into abyss of despair. It meant I had to drag up all the bad things that had happened in my life and 'take ownership' of them.

I was never quite sure of what I was supposed to do with such an admission but it was enough to make me want to throw myself out the window.

The epiphany was discovering that taking responsibility was not about owning the past. It was about owning the future!

Taking responsibility is about a complete 'knowing' that you can create whatever you want in your life - it's just about finding the 'how'.

Now here is the contradiction: projecting yourself into the possibility of enormous success will be tempered by the the logical thinking around the 'how'. 'How am I going to do this?' you would naturally inquire.

Herein lies the trap and the escape hatch.

By projecting yourself into that impossible place of aiming at your highest, you need to break out of the 'how' into a dream-like state, experiencing the joy of having achieved that outcome. Putting yourself into that futuristic experience leapfrogs over the 'how'. Having achieved this fantastical state, the blocks that the sub-conscious mind has put in place are re-examined. That predominant block is simply 'I cannot do this - it's impossible!'.

By doing the futuristic projection opens up the 'impossibility' block and magic happens. All of a sudden you start noticing things that have always been in front of you that you had previously been blocked off (it was impossible - so why waste time even considering it!).

By noticing these news things, you effortlessly start to move towards them. And one things leads to another and so you start moving in the direction of the things that you were fantasising about.

What I'm saying is that the 'how' is irrelevant when you are conjuring up big audacious goals. By simply projecting yourself into the a fantasy of experiencing the outcome, you open up new awareness that moves you in a new direction. And magically the 'how's' begin to take care of themselves.

This is the secret of visualization and is the secret of The Secret!
