Carve your Own Journey #Episode 9
The ever glorious sun was smoothly setting towards the wide horizon throwing radiant buds on the beach. It seemed as if that huge ball of fire was bursting into colours of saffron and emerald with a gentle tint of Prussian in the wild white sky. The sunset was blissful and blessed. The bouncy tidal waves of chow patty reminded her of the silence of the? Lal Pari Lake, the moments spent with Kabir. Although they were bestowed miles away from each other a special force kept them tangled together.? Time flies away like a rocket but some bonds can never be plucked away. The cool waters drenched Vaidu’s toes as her mind was tossing through her childhood city.It all felt as if the events took place ages ago. Her life was dropping perfectly like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Every piece seemed to have found its place.
“Vaidehi, what’s up?,” Veronica slid her hands through Vaidehi’s shoulders
“Umm... I was thinking about, abandon it; Akash how was your audition,” She interrogated, her eyes dazzling towards him.
“It went quite good actually; let’s hope I lay hands on the role,” Grinned Akash.
“You will, trust me,” Vaidehi smirked
“So, tell us something else about you, like when was your first date” Veronica’s eyes dodging with his.
“What, I didn’t experience anything equivalent. I didn’t date anyone yet, just childhood crushes nothing further than that” He explained.
“Seriously” She gave away a loud cry “You are further more virtuous than I thought you would be; you are just like me” She winked with a hideous smile.
“Holy crap Veronica, you are dating currently,” Vaidehi squeaked and gave away a wide grin.
“I am on the verge of breaking up, I can’t handle him any longer” She gave away a cute wink.
“You didn’t have a chat with him over it yet” Vaidu gave a surprising cry.
“I told him to come over my place whenever he could; He is a bit occupied right now, my advantage.” She notified.

“What is he up to, I bet he can’t discover something more beautiful than you,” Akash spoke out, peering at her plunging neckline; her brown iris was flirting with his as he flashed his dimples.
“Aww...so cute of you, He is grooming up for UPSC Mains, these UPSC aspirant are so mundane, every minute he blurts about a devastating war, about a treaty or about current affairs,” She exaggerated.
“Veronica, Akash is making provisions for UPSC mains,” Vaidehi gave a short cry.
“Oh I am sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you, but they seem to be really tedious and spiritless,” Veronica said.
“I feel the same, history is interesting but their books are monotonous, most of the times while studying them I find myself lost in another book actually a magazine, Vogue,”
“I love reading Vogue, they are like my weekly refreshers for studies, do you adore them as well?” She questioned
“Yes, of course,” Akash couldn’t stop the warmth rising in his plum cheeks on being in tune with Veronica’s likes. He loved the way she dressed her hair and the appealing colours on her dresses. Her attitude was contagious and he found himself smiling after long hours.
“You guys continue, I need to catch up on a lecture of French, see you soon, Bubye,” Vaidehi said as she dust of the sand from her skirt, carried her handbag and slid away.
“So, Why didn’t you ever go on a date,” Veronica enquired.
“Maybe, there is something too repellent about me,” Akash said and that were the last words Vaidehi heard as she squandered her way towards her classes.
?‘Perhaps, it was your repellence that’s pulling me towards you. There’s definitely something different about you,’ Veronica ruminated in her thoughts, as she stretched a grimace on her lips.
?Lately, Vaidehi had collaborated with Alliance Francaise? to acquire the art of speaking French. She had an enthusiastic thirst for linguistic knowledge and that was visible since she entered the boundaries of this dreamy city.?
