Cars and Scars!

People who know me understand my passion about the automobile ( bikes/ cars ) that I have owned/ own. For the longest time, I owned an Enfield 350 for 17 years and finally managed to upgrade.
The first scratch on my first car was extremely painful. I remained disturbed for a long time. Each time I would look at the scratch, I wanted to rewind time and make that scratch disappear.
?Then one day I discovered the joy of driving. That's what a car is meant for. Each time I pushed the car to its limits. Getting off road, in slush, jungles, being scratched by bushes, impossible mountain terrains ,deserts , no roads in MP, and many such drives. Not once the car let me down. Not even a single puncture. Scratches and dents, it got many.
My focus had shifted from how a car looks to what a car can do. I ensure my car is in top shape from inside and under the bonnet. Always, ready for a drive any time of the year.
Then I looked at myself. I was doing it all wrong all these years. Was focused on the exterior just like for the car. That's not what we are made for.
I started focusing on the inside of me. My mental health, physical wellbeing, learnings. Not my clothes, shoes, watches, phone, appearance.
Focus on what take you further. Let the scratches and scars show.
