More restaurants try surge pricing?
The idea of raising prices for food during peak times, a la Uber, caused such a stir recently that Wendy's issued a statement saying it will not implement surge pricing. A record share of 401(k) account holders took early withdrawals from their accounts last year for financial emergencies, according to internal data from Vanguard Group. Alongside increasing withdrawals — the average 401(k) account balance rose 19% in 2023. Automatic enrollment and increasing contribution rate programs are playing a key role in increased retirement savings. "Many workers like the ideas of borrowing from themselves," says Dave Stinnett, head of strategic retirement consulting at Vanguard.

11 个月With dealing with the tragic loss of a family member, I will invest strongly in the efforts into reinventing the HR postion in medicine to that of solutions and comfort, rather than my experiance of denial and lack of accountability.
