Crass, vulgar and smutty they certainly were, but for a coarse fellow like myself there were a wealth of cheap laughs to be had in Carry On screenwriter Talbot Rothwell's inventive knack for cheeky names and places.
This short digression refers to the classic years of Rothwell (1964-74), when (in my estimation) his powers were at their height.
