My client, let's call her Carrie, is the only female at her level in an all male team in a HUGE household name.
The Start Point:
This woman is like the oracle, she KNOW's her stuff. Her boss asks her questions, the team gravitate to her. She balances her knowledge with a passion for caring for her clients. Which made her super successful.
For a long time, then made more so by lockdown she'd felt lost. She missed her team, clients and the boundaries lost in working from home.
She was scared, and knew there was no job security anymore. She was making more and more effort, yet felt like she was failing by her own high standards.
For the first time in her life she felt negative, asking herself "Is this it? Is this my life what I’ve worked so hard for.” And she was giving more and more, yet unhappy and feeling like it was all too much effort .. she was on the road to burning out.
Too scared to stop, she just kept going!
In anyone's eyes Carrie was a success .. the lovely house, caring husband, her fittest at fifty and a career she loved. Yet in her heart she knew there was something more for her.
Her Journey:
When she got in touch with me, she was ready to go ALL IN! Her refusal to stay where she was drove her to commit and follow each step to the letter. She was a joy to teach and coach! She joined me as a VIP client, working with me on my group programme putting into place my On Fire Leadership Process.
Now 6 months on she's BACK, better, braver and bolder than ever. "The best place I've ever been."
Carrie's gone from saying "This is it, defeated and deflated," to loudly and proudly "This is NOT it for me, I know there's more to come."
What's changed?
??A BIG new promotion and the only female at that level in her business, a role she was OFFERED and didn't apply for.
??Running back to back marathons in lockdown, constantly committing her time to this HUGE challenge and NOT burning herself out.
??An even closer relationship to her husband, working as more of a team than ever before and him cooking more to support her.
??Making her 50th birthday special within the bounds of what she could do and feeling so grateful.
??Not feeling guilty or embarrassed asking for help when she needs it, making her life easier and simpler.
This woman WILL lead change. She is a change maker. A pattern breaker. A beacon of light to create hope for others.
