He starts working at the early morning every day and continues until the night. He is very serious about his work. Ordering works have some sorts of special pressure, therefore that can’t satisfy always. Customers have also no tension regarding this, they think differently, how a delivery can be done ordinarily at a minimum cost. It is the only credit to save even a scanty amount of money. So this can’t please Monohor and he works separately without sleeping at night. However separate work doesn’t mean any work of different profession, similar job. Yet, the item or the objective is different, where satisfaction is the most coveted one. The additions are of different issue. As for example, he had made only a cot and a chair in the last two years. The chair was shifted to the Prime Minister’s office while the cot was sold at the furniture fair. Both the items yielded a good profit. But that’s not the main point. Monohor’s mental peace is unique. His cot was adjudged the best at the furniture fair, the price of which rose up to three and half lakh taka. The chair was sold at Tk. two lakh totaling an amount of Tk. Five lakh and fifty thousand, not a bad figure indeed.

Figure of money is not the main thing to Manohar. This chair will be occupied by the queens, VIPs will sleep on the cot. They will see his artistic craft and designs sitting on the cot and applaud his creative works. What could be more delighted than this. This is the satisfaction of Manohar. He works sleeplessly just to derive this sort of peace. His beautiful wife spends time alone on the bed. However the winter and hot do not matter to him. His spouse is also aware about it. He felt uneasy at the initial days after heir marriage, now she has been accustomed with this. Sometimes she comes to Manohar and sat down there and sees how the an works with concentration. Subsequently she manages her husband to go to bed together.

Manoharwas more than a patriot. Most of his relatives live in Kolkata or Hawra in India. They are well off there and they insist him to migrate to India. However Manohar doesn’t care for that.He is well and good here.

Manohar was so neutral however he can’t be easy with the situation prevailed. Election took place couple of days back. They couldn’t sworn in power who were voted by Manohar. It is natural and normal. However there seems ansmell in the atmosphere. Some youths were walking by the side of his shop They were loudly talking, the Hindus have to leave this soil (country). The scoundrels live here but dream for India. Monoharrecognized the youths. Once he planned to respond however he kept silence nextly. How Monohar will prove himself as different something.

It rained whole night submerging the surrounding streets,it seemed that the river water has inundated the entire locality, that is also a low lying area. The drainage system is also poor, that can’t drain out stagnant water in a shorter period. Manohar’s factory was inundated also, he works inside the room.

Manohor’s wife Basona Rani, while trying to finish preparing lunch, felt a pain at her abdomen, Basona stopped a while and started again. Her daughter needs to have a bath.

Rain water receded at one stage, the village became busy again, Monohar’s factory turned to be a busy place, Suddenly some youths rushed to the spot and entered into the shop. They told how nice furniture do you make. Can you make one set for our boss?

-Why not, obviously.

-But, of a good quality, as you supplied to the furniture fair.

-Yes, that will need timing.

-However, not a longer time be allocated. Boss will marriage at the next month and start his conjugal life in a new residence. So make sure. Is it possible to make a better one within a shorter time? Previous work claimed two years time.

-Ok. Work until the dead of night to complete in time.

Manohar knows, the guy, for whom they are proposing to order for furniture, would not pay. However Manohar has the grievance for other issues. The person, whom the order has been proposed, is hated by all. Will Manohar make furniture for such a notorious one?

Time and daypass. Manohar works without sleeping. Everything was OK. One day was an exception. Suddenly Manohar can’t compromise with the issue. His grumble has been shaped up strongly. Manohar is striving to cool down himself.

Manohar’s factory was in operation, There was light in both factory and in the residence. But thereseemed nobody inside the house. Everybody was looking inside and realized that nobody existed there. Then, where is Manohar?

Manohar’s vehicle is moving towards the border. He felt uneasy as soon as he crossed the border line.
