Hello, Book Lovers!

For those of you who still crave the feel of a good book in your hands, I have a new one for you. It’s called The Tide Pool. Yes, I finally got the characters out of the drawer, onto the page, and up on the Local Authors display wall at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena. And of course, Amazon.com.

During the pandemic, I was so frustrated by having our freedom curtailed that the project manager in me kept saying, “What is the deliverable for this experience? What positive thing can I be doing now that will make this time worthwhile?” I decided the obvious thing to do was write a book, so now we have the pleasure of meeting without masks again and I have my title to share.

What’s it about?

Ah. Yes, tools and masculine things. Tracy Pascal has about 30 seconds to learn her new job as an assistant on a construction site because no woman lasts. They just keep disappearing. Her predecessor went to lunch and never came back so now it’s Tracy’s turn.

Actually, she volunteered. What’s life without a little risk?

The Tide Pool is a tale of a woman who has come to the end of her personal road, or the one she or society thought she was traveling, and now it’s time to leap into the unknown, the future, the strange and unfathomable, or sit down like a good little girl, fold her hands, and let the fire inside go out.
