Seize Each Day as a Precious Gift!

Each and every day we should be reminding ourselves to be present and to live in the moment. For most of us, whether or not we actually do it, seizing each and every day is an actual possibility.

But, tragically, it isn't there or real for everyone.

Imagine for a second coming home from war with internal demons that one day may push you to thoughts unimaginable. Death by suicide! Then consider the fact that 20 military veterans, each and every day, do exactly that!

But There Is Hope! Thanksgiving and #GivingTuesday

I have the honor of serving as Board Chair for the Heroes To Heroes Foundation, a nondenominational combat veterans 501(c)(3) that successfully saves veterans suffering with moral injury, and who are at serious risk for suicide or on a path to self-destruction.

We achieve our phenomenal results through a program based in spirituality and a reconnection to faith.

It's a loss of faith that is a significant contributing factor for a majority of Heroes To Heroes participants. Team journeys to Israel, the birthplace for so many global religions, are a key component to our organizations phenomenal results!

I would love to speak with anyone who may be interested in learning more about and the Heroes To Heroes Foundation program, our new alliance with the VA Chaplains Corp. and the fantastic results coming out of a long-term study being conducted by Dr. Joseph Currier at the University of Southern Alabama.
