Caroline Wozniacki & Holger Rune Play Star Couple in Jyske Bank Boxen

Caroline Wozniacki and Holger Rune welcome the popular couple Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils in Jyske Bank Boxen for world-class tennis at Champions Battle 2024.

Champions Battle 2024 takes places on Tuesday 11th of June 2024, where all Danish tennis fans get a unique opportunity to watch four world-class stars unfold on Danish soil: Caroline Wozniacki, Holger Rune, Elina Svitolina, and Gael Monfils. For the first time ever Caroline Wozniacki and Holger Rune will play a mixed double and then in incredible surroundings with room for 10,000 spectators in Jyske Bank Boxen. All four players who will hopefully be playing at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.?

Denmark’s greatest sports star of all time Caroline Wozniacki is looking forward to playing an exhibition match in Herning again, but this time in a mixed double with fellow countryman and the world’s no. 7, Holger Rune too:

”This will be a great night against a class player like Svitolina, who I know really well, and who I hope to take revenge against. Of course, I’m looking very much forward to be playing together with Holger in a mixed double. I played in Herning back in 2015 against Serena Williams, where the atmosphere was fantastic. I’m sure we can create the same this time.”

Also Holger Rune is looking forward to a great night in Jyske Bank Boxen, he says:?

“We can look forward to top entertaining tennis in June on Danish Soil with the exhibition match in Boxen, where Caroline and I will defeat Monfils and Svitolina. Monfils is a fantastic entertaining tennis player and I’m very much looking forward to delivering a blast of a match for our Danish fans.”

Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils is a very popular couple in the sport of tennis, they are married and have a 1.5-year-old daughter together. 29-year-old Elina Svitolina became professional tennis player in 2010, was the first Ukrainian to reach a top-10 in the world rankings and has since won 17 WTA singles titles and an Olympic bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.?

The 37-year-old French Gael Monfils has played professional tennis since 2004 and has throughout his career won 12 ATP singles titles. He has beaten legends like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, and Daniil Medvedev. He finished 2023 in style by winning the Stockholm Open.?

The evening starts with the top match between the tennis legend and Grand Slam winner, Caroline Wozniacki and the Ukrainian star Elina Svitolina. Hereafter the Danish world star, Holger Rune takes on the world’s most entertaining tennis player from France, Gael Monfils. The third part of the evening consists of a mixed double match between two of Denmark’s greatest and most popular sports stars, Caroline Wozniacki and Holger Rune, and the tennis sport’s most popular married couple Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils.?
