Carolinas PGA Welcomes Brad Coleman as Director of Development

GREENSBORO, NC (March 20, 2023) –?The Carolinas PGA is excited to announce the hire of Brad Coleman as its new PGA REACH Carolinas Director of Development.
Brad will be responsible for managing and coordinating fundraising efforts while building relationships with PGA professionals, donors, golf facilities and allied associations. He will be working closely with the Carolinas PGA staff and Board of Directors to serve as the key strategist for PGA REACH Carolinas fundraising.
Brad was born in Columbia, South Carolina and grew up in the Piedmont-Triad area of North Carolina.??Brad attended East Carolina University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management.
Upon graduating, Brad interned for the famed Richard Petty and Petty Enterprises before returning to his alma mater to work in marketing for ECU Athletics.?
Brad comes to the Carolinas PGA after serving as the Associate Director, Corporate Development for the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), a non-profit which helps disabled Veterans regain their independence after injury or diagnosis.?Brad has been with the PVA since 2015, where he helped oversee corporate fundraising efforts that included management of?cause marketing,?sports properties and programmatic sponsorship sales.
Brad currently resides in Greenville, NC with his wife Kristen and their three children Luke (7), Blakely (3) and Brooke (2).?Brad’s hobbies include golf, spending time at the beach and attending/watching sporting events.?

This is a very exciting hire for the Carolinas PGA as it will allow the Section to focus on fundraising efforts to grow the?Carolinas PGA REACH Trustee Program?to create more opportunities to grow the game within the three pillars of youth, military, and diversity and inclusion. Brad will begin his time with the Section the week of April 3rd.
